VICTORY! I fixed the collisions! It turns out the problem was in drawing the obstacles; I had the horizontal position off by 300 (pixels to the left), as the snowball was at 300 pixels.
Next up: Re-adding upgrades and achievements. Maybe adding some background decorations.
